IT Help Desk Engineer
Melbourne based, national role Remuneration negotiable, depending on experience

Working as part of a young and dynamic team, the responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensure that our customers are able to work efficiently by the timely resolution of issues at the initial point of contact by providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support
- Set-up, deploy and maintain end user hardware and software in our staging centre
- Pro-actively seek to improve our customers’ networks through identifying areas of improvement and taking the action through to completion
- Take ownership of all calls logged to the Service Desk and ensure timely resolution by self action or by correctly engaging the correct resource
- Ensure appropriate documentation is created and maintained for cases
- Network administration (Windows NT\2000\2003\2008, AD, DNS, DHCP)
The right person will have:
- Exceptional verbal communication and absolutely perfect English
- Outstanding commitment to customer service
- A demonstrated and methodical approach to problem solving
- One year technical experience in a Service Desk role
- Experience with admin duties in Active Directory (add users, manage printers etc)
- Basic TCP/IP networking skills – DHCP, DNS, firewalls, routers etc
- Self-motivation, self management and organised approach
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- MCP\CCNA certification desirable, but not essential
- Australian residency
Knowledge in the following products/technologies will also be highly desirable:
- IP Telephony
- Video Conferencing
- Wan Acceleration
- LAN
- Microsoft applications
Extensive ongoing training is provided as part of this role. The right person will be groomed for a field engineering role over the next twelve months.
Senior Network Systems Engineer

Working as part of a dynamic team and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the responsibilities of this role include:
- Installing and maintaining hardware and software
- System builds, upgrades and configuration
- Will involve rollout projects
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
The right person will have:
- 5 years experience in Routing, Switching & Telephony
- 2 years experience in Videoconferencing
- LAN and WAN optimization skills
- Exceptional verbal communication and absolutely perfect English
- Outstanding commitment to customer service
- Experience with Juniper\Ironport products
- Excellent knowledge of IP addressing, TCP/IP, SNMP, Ethernet
- Ability to identify customer issues and problems and how those issues and problems are best resolved
- Practical experience in trouble shooting and fault analysis methodologies is essential
- Self-motivation, self management and organised approach
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- MCP\CCNA certification desirable, but not essential
- Australian residency and valid drivers’ license.
Extensive ongoing training is provided as part of this role. You may be required to work out of hours and travel on occasion.
