We learnt some interesting stats today at the Plantronics conference in New Zealand that I wanted to share with you. This should encourage some very interesting conversations with Finance and HR let alone senior execs.
On average 70% of telephone calls made are missed – Drives home the importance of “presence”. Only calling people when you know they can take the call.
For an average office worker on $60,000 per year – for every minute that you save them in their work day that saves the organisation 57 cents. Doesn’t sound like much but if implementing Lync could save a person just 20 minutes a day, on average across an organisation of 1,000 workers that’s $2.7M per year!
Why don’t you have publically federated IM and Presence?
