Sonus 3.1–great news!

Sonus is starting 2014 off with greatly expanded offerings through Release 3.1 of the SBC 1000 and SBC 2000 Session Border Controllers, inclusive of new software and hardware enhancements.
The following are the high-impact changes: 
Greater Session Count
Release 3.1 also increases session count of the SBC 1000 from 100 to 160 sessions.

Sonus’ Element Management System (EMS) is a centralized Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security (FCAPS) solution that contains everything customers need to manage their Sonus network.
Expanded Enhanced Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) Functionality with 3G/4G Failover for Microsoft Lync
With Release 3.1, Sonus is enabling dynamic adjustment of back-up call volume which allows for voice not only over the PSTN but also over 3G/4G, DSL or other alternate data connection.
Full Visibility into Quality of Service with Microsoft Lync QoE
New enhancements provide quality monitoring and report quality of experience (QoE) for all legs of a call. With Microsoft Lync QoE monitoring, network administrators can gather statistics while troubleshooting media quality, perform diagnostics in response to user complaints, and view scaling trends against the service level agreement (SLA)
